Brian Phillips - It's not your old school pre-fab!
Prefabricated is a definite trend in contemporary architecture as well as affordable housing that is both functional and desirable. Brian Phillips of Interface Studio Architects in Philadelphia takes on projects in urban centers like Philadelphia, Boston, and Chicago. Pictured here is a building claaed The Modules, which has 72 units for students residential living [the reinvention of dorms?] all of it prefabricated! It completely changes the look of the neighborhood without sticking out like a modern monstrosity! Love the 3-D windows...wonder if they add light into the apartment or privacy or is it just decoration?
