Damien Hirst is
an English artist, and a prominent member of the group YBA (Young British
Artists). He is known for creating
absurd and sometimes offensive pieces that share a major theme of death. One of his most famous works, For the Love of
God, is on the market as the most expensive piece of art by a living artist.
