3D printing seems to be the "it thing" when it comes to innovation. Here is a wonderful lacy dress. According to the website it is constructed from 2,279 individual triangular panels interconnected by 3,316 hinges of nylon, printed in a Selective Laser Sintering over a span of approximately 48 hours. The Museum of Modern Art added it to its permanent collection!
