Leandro Erlich - 2012

Leandro Erlich is an Argentinian artist who does a lot of interesting installations with mirrors and reflections. He wants to explore the viewers' perception of a room and what his work does to distort their reality. Erlich's piece Batiment is a large-scale installation of a building facade and a giant mirror. It was exhibited in Paris and allowed visitors to view themselves in a gravity-defying illusion that makes them look like they are hanging off of the building.
Originally built in 2004, but recreated in 2011 in order to be exhibited at Le Centquatre in Paris, France.
